Custom Mini Bike Build HD 720p
Переглядів 4917 місяців тому
Building a mini bike from the heart. I hope this video inspires you to do the same. Before graduating to motorcycles many of us started with mini bikes when we were kids. That is where the hobby begins to grow. For some it's how they make a living like the Isle of Mann TT racers where on average 2.5 riders die each year? Why do they continue to do it? Unfortunately, I had to ask myself the same...

I had a triumph 1968 250cc trophy, but liked the starfire styling better. Same engine, better looking.
Hello Mr. Chapman, My brother used to drive a BMW R 26 (all year round). However, he had a team with a sidecar. I was always allowed to ride in the sidecar. That was a wonderful experience. I think it's very nice that they have prepared the R 27 so beautifully have. Yes, that was still good quality. As a German, I am very proud. I hope you still own the BMW R 27 and have a lot much joy. Many greetings from Germany Rolf Kück
These old singles are beautiful. Nice bike.
Nice little 250 good on fuel handle well with plenty of power low down the rev range
nice motorcycle ,i love cb series🤙
I hove such kind
Pure jewelry 😍
Very nice job, looks excellent! I recently bought a PC50 K1, it's been in a barn since 1984 and never touched by a mechanic. It looks it's age and I like the patina and will keep it like this! Just checking the the brakes, the cables, replace the wheel bearings, fit new tyres, cleaning the fuel tank and carburetor, flush the engine from the smelly oil, put in some fresh oil and fuel and... let's go!
The motor has a miss in it.
Beautiful machin...❤
I have pinstriped a lot of Bmw motorcycles ,Stripe is always on top of the clear.I believe this is the way they did it back in the day, Nice Job
Back in the days it was no clear coat, that is why the stripe were on top and proned to deterioration in time. The clear coat protect the stripes, that is why in this days we aply the clear coat on top of the stripes. For originality purposes you can do the stripes on top, some guys are doing it.
i am seen 2024😂
A+
Very nice! 👍
What seat is on the mint green bike?
Great job, i do some restorations to those bikes here in Greece r27 is the more powerful one cylinder from the 60s.I Have Owned an R25-3 1954.The small miniature that you put out the box is a R25-3.
Yes the miniature is a R25 because they don't make an R27 version. Good Eye. Don't tell anyone. 😅
Back in the early 80's I loved in Berlin, and visited the BMW Spandau facility. I watched a middle-aged lady lining six gas tanks for the gendarmerie - green main colour - using the same kind of brushes - and a light over her shoulder.
Wide Ratio Gearbox on a 2 stroke.. mmm..interesting
Great video! The R27 looks amazing! I've been looking for an R27, are parts easy to get to restore one of these great classic motorcycles?
Beautiful and sounds great.
How disappointing! Watching you use drywall tape and bondo to repair the mud guard, I almost fall off my seat! Also, please refrain on using the term restoration when you go out and purchase new parts instead of restoring the bike's original parts.
My first bike was a blue 1968 BSA 250 Starfire. Not much about this bike is period correct or original.
Hi Doug do you still have the original muffler that comes with the bike? I'm interested on It. Thanks un advance.
Brilliant! I bought my 1968 Starfire when it was 2 years old and I still have it.
hahahah the bike parts from so many different countries, that's interesting. this type of bikes are super popular in india, iran, pakistan.etc they clone the bike and sometimes its a family bike, the whole family sit on the bike and barely fit.
Can you tell me the name of the place where you have bought this exhaust?
cool!
hello ı really really love this content! We have r26 1956 and we have the same charging problem as you did. Where can we get that charging collector?
You can get parts at Ulis or Salis.
I'll be starting my restoration project on my first bike which is the same model could I contact you if have any questions?
Yes. Hopefully I can help.
Nice Bike
Great video , beautiful bike!
WOW! I am most impressed by your ingenuity in the process of giving the fasteners their brass finish. All in all a very beautiful restoration. I can't wait to see your next project, I feel like I hold an insider secret right now and don't want to let the cat out of the bag. I will try to get those Kijiji "items" shipped out to you as soon as possible. Cheers! 😁
Glad you like that.
How can I buy spare parts for honda pc50
too low idle speed is bad , no enough oil pressure for the engine when it start
needs decal or something imo.
Great video.
Me and my better half loved this rebuild. Beautiful all around :)
Great great job so beautiful bike thanks
The 1968 Starfire 250 has always been one of my favorite models. I loved my 1971 Goldstar 500 too.
I have one identical to this one in my basement only 1900 original miles.
Beautiful bike! I'm posting a video of mine this afternoon!
If everyone had one of them everyone would be happy.
Sounds and looks beautiful. True classic motorcycle design
Awesome restoration. Beautiful machine to be admired.
this is amazing! Im rebuilding a 1969, but having issues with the tail light... any help would be amazing. I'm out in BC :)
Great job on the restoration. Where did you find the replacement engine mounts? Thanks
I can't handle the music. I have to ask why?
I did this one in 1999: ua-cam.com/video/6AIIsJAWfdE/v-deo.html It had been abandoned for 15 years in the sand under a beach house, and had been disassembled into boxes. Fenders and tank were perforated, cylinder deeply pitted, seat gone, etc. Everything needed rebuilding - engine, generator, trans, speedo, carb. After 5,000 miles of riding the generator would lose polarity and stop charging. I was about to order a second new rotor, but a 12V conversion was cheaper (and brighter lights). But this stopped it from winning shows when a judge would sight the diode board peeking below the tank. I put 9,000 miles on it until 2012 when I sold it because we were both too old cope with modern riding conditions.
I just watched your restored R27. Beautiful bike and loved your video. Well done on both!
I Have the English version of this bike BSA Bantam D1 125
I owned one of these in the mid 60s. A fine bike it was; wish I never sold it.
